All the things I’ve been consuming (not including the happy meal I ate whilst driving home from Ikea) in the past fortnight, tidied up with a little neat tiktok acronym - Welcome to the fortnightly R.E.P.O.R.T
R: Reading
Currently reading How My Neighbour Stole Christmas by Meghan Quinn. Just finished Five Gold Rings by Kristen Bailey - Christmas is the season for chic-lit holiday books (or trashy movies starring Lindsay Lohan, obviously).
E: Eating
This Korean-inspired chopped salad is everything. Meat-free (I’m embracing a meat-free moment at the moment), PLUS gochujang & tofu are so easy to grab at any Aussie supermarket these days. It’s also the perfect excuse to use up the 1kg of sesame seeds that somehow always ends up in my spice drawer!

P: Playing
I spotted this record at Happy Valley and can’t stop kicking myself for not grabbing it-I’ve had the Spotify playlist on repeat ever since. It sets the vibe for the house (and my mood) as the perfect background track. Highly recommend funk or lofi lounge vibes for when you’re cleaning or tackling mundane tasks - it delivers that “main character energy.”
O: Obsessing
Over organising and redecorating our bedroom. I’ve been screenshotting items we already have and things I love, then piecing them together to check if the vibe is coming together.
I’m adore the Theo Polished Chrome Lamp, but with an April release date, it’s a dealbreaker—so I’ve been cruising Facebook Marketplace instead. Also loving the new limited-edition gradient bedding from Sheet Society. I’ve always been a linen girl, but after buying our daughter some of their cotton sateen bedding (SO soft), I’m tempted to switch. Bonus points for the zipper closure on the duvet cover.
Working draft for the bedroom below, is $600 too much to spend on large drawer knobs for a chest of drawers? Asking for a friend.
R: Recommending
Everyone needs to start unsubscribing from emails, tidying up whatsapp group chats and really just get things digitally in order before heading into the new year. I’m a big fan of www.trimbox.io which I use through the year to unsubscribe on the go - but December is when I really say “see you later” to things I don’t want to take into the new year!
T: Treating
My husband has said I’m a nightmare to shop for because I am ALWAYS “treating” myself to the things I want. My favourite “treat” recently is probably this crown affair hairbrush (honestly, so good) and their leave in conditioner. The brush is just divine for brushing, and the scent of the leave in conditioner has me dangerously close to adding their signature fragrance to my cart. I had a scalp biopsy 2 weeks ago trying to get to the bottom of some hair loss and so I am really enjoying treating my hair at the moment - I cannot wait to get my stitches out tomorrow.
Whats on your R.E.P.O.R.T? I’m seriously behind on my Good Reads challenge (60 books when I need to be at 80 - so I’m looking for those “can’t put down” books you’ve read this year!
